On the 6th of August Room 2 is having try-outs for rubber band powered cars.The only things you are allowed to use are: rubber bands(one for powering), cardboard, two straws, two skewers and lastly some cellotape.
My Dad and I made a car and we tested it and it went about 10-17 metres! I've also been making a car with Joe in my class. But when I was hot glue gunning the last wheel on, the hot glue dripped off the wheel, onto my thumb, then dripped off my thumb and onto my knee so I tried to get the glue off with my finger but it burnt it. The burn on my thumb burnt through 3 layers of skin. The one on my knee still has glue on it but hopefully should just come off, and the one on my finger was only a little burn but surprisingly it hurt the most.
